The
layering
guide.

Cleanse, mist, serums, cream. The order matters less than most brands pretend — every AULA formula is compatibility-tested — but there's still a smart way to build a stack. Here's how a chemist would do it.

Six steps.

Step 1
Cloud Cleanser
Start clean. A pH-balanced cleanse that strips nothing.
Step 2
Hydra Boost Essence
Mist damp skin to prime it for actives.
Step 3
HA Hydrate
The hydration anchor — goes in every stack.
Step 4
Targeted serums
Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Peptide or Exosome.
Step 5
Barrier Repair Cream
Seal everything in.
Step 6
SPF (AM)
Always finish daytime with sun protection.

Do

The do's

  • Apply thinnest to thickest — watery serums first, cream last.
  • Leave skin slightly damp before HA Hydrate so it has water to bind.
  • Wait 30–60 seconds between active serums to let each absorb.
  • Save Vitamin C for the AM and pair it with SPF.

Don't

The don'ts

  • Don't pile on more than four serums in one sitting — your skin can't use it.
  • Don't layer over wet, dripping skin; pat to damp first.
  • Don't introduce three new actives at once — add one at a time.
  • Don't skip the barrier cream on a high-active night.

Morning
stack.

Cleanse → mist → HA Hydrate → Vitamin C Bright → Barrier Repair Cream → SPF. Antioxidant protection and hydration to carry you through the day.

Evening
stack.

Cleanse → HA Hydrate → Niacinamide or Peptide or Exosome → Barrier Repair Cream. Repair and treatment, when skin does most of its recovery.
